Midrex Certified for ISO 9001:2015 – Midrex Global Offices, R&D Center Included

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, USA (June 8, 2021) – Midrex Technologies, Inc’s Quality Management System has been recommended for continued certification by DQS Inc. under ISO 9001:2015, following successful completion of the recertification audit of the headquarters in Charlotte. Midrex subsidiaries in Dubai, India, and the United Kingdom have achieved recommendation for their initial certification under the Standard this year as well.
ISO 9001:2015 is a globally recognized quality management standard developed and published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The certification provides a model for companies of all types and sizes to use in building an effective quality management system. The standard is based on several quality management principles, including having a strong customer focus, involvement of high-level company management, an outlined process-based approach, and ongoing improvement of the aforementioned approach.
The endorsement recommendation of Midrex was issued by DQS, who is a member of IQNet, a network of 35 international certification bodies, that have certified over 300,000 organizations in more than 150 countries. Receiving an IQNet Certificate enhances the standing of companies that do business outside the USA.

Midrex was originally certified under ISO 9001 on June 17, 1998, by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. In 2002, the Midrex registration was certified under ISO 9001:2000 by UL. The certificate scope includes the provision of contracted engineering, technical staffing services, and equipment packages for industrial plants; the procurement of the original plant equipment for these engineered plants; and the supply of replacement parts. The Midrex Research & Development Technology Center is included for new product and technology development.
Midrex Technologies Gulf Services FZCO located in Dubai, UAE was added to the Midrex certification in 2021 for the provision of contracted engineering services.
Midrex Technologies India Private, Ltd. and Midrex UK Ltd. were originally registered under ISO 9001:2008 and were recertified in 2021 under the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
