Midrex Promotes Aashima Vadhera to Managing Director of Midrex India

Midrex is pleased to announce the promotion of Aashima Vadhera to Managing Director (MD), Midrex India.

Aashima, a member of the Midrex Executive Staff, has been with the company for nearly 14 years. She brings extensive expertise in leadership, business strategy, finance, tax advisory, corporate governance, and regulatory matters. Her strategic perspective and organizational knowledge will play a key role as Midrex India continues to expand its operations and capabilities.

In her new role, Aashima will have oversight of all functions of Midrex India, including India Engineering. Midrex India plays a critical role in supporting global project execution, engineering excellence, and regional business development. Under Aashima’s leadership, the office is well positioned to strengthen its capabilities, support customers across Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa, and contribute to Midrex’s long-term strategic growth.

Since joining Midrex in 2012 at the India office, Aashima has led the financial and administrative operations for both the India and Shanghai offices. Her team provides essential financial and administrative support to project execution, marketing, and sales activities across Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. She also serves on the board of Midrex Gulf Services, supporting financial supervision, and works closely with the Midrex Commercial Team on tax and contractual advisory matters.

Prior to joining Midrex, Aashima worked with Ernst & Young (E&Y) and PwC, where she gained significant experience in cross border transactions, business modelling, international tax and regulatory matters. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds bachelor’s degrees in Law and Commerce. Aashima is also a graduate of the Midrex Leadership Institute, Cohort 2.
