Dempsey Named VP – Commercial & Teeters to Lead Midrex Engineering

John Teeters will replace Dempsey as Director – Engineering, with responsibility for all engineering disciplines associated with the execution of major projects including new plants, plant upgrades, and technology development.

In his 10 years at Midrex, Dempsey has developed an extensive background in process engineering, including lead design and commissioning roles. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering.

Teeters, a graduate of North Carolina State University with Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in mechanical engineering, has more than 25 years of engineering and project management experience in ironmaking, liquified natural gas (LNG), chemical processes, fiber-optics, and pharmaceutical glass including more than 10 years with Midrex serving in lead engineering, commissioning, and training roles.
