Midrex Technologies has partnered with Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill, South Carolina, to support environmental stewardship, community engagement and local food security.
Through a $25,000 contribution and teammate volunteer opportunities, Midrex will support the Greenway’s conservation efforts and its Plant a Row for the Hungry Garden, which provides approximately 6,000 pounds of fresh produce annually to hunger relief organizations throughout York County.
The partnership builds on the KOBELCO 120th ANNIVERSARY PROJECT, launched in 2025 to celebrate Kobe Steel’s milestone anniversary while investing in initiatives that contribute to a more sustainable future.
To kick off the partnership, Midrex teammates rolled up their sleeves and volunteered in the garden on Friday, October 16. Additional volunteer opportunities throughout the year will allow teammates to continue giving back and making a meaningful impact in our local community.
